My DS has started solids in the last two weeks ...

My DS has started solids in the last two weeks at 5.5 months under my GP's instructions. Before we went to the GP, I was worried because he really dropped back in his milk feeds. He seemed like he was just really sick of milk, because he will refuse milk but drink diluted juice or water. Anyway, we started him on solids which he has taken to really well! He's eating so much... I just can't believe that someone who has always been such a small milk drinker is just really into his food! Its great! I just worry that he is not getting enough formula though. He will only have 4 bottles per day. The first three are tiny, he will only take between 80-140mls, usually only about 100mls, but the one before bed he normally takes around 200mls. Over the course of the day, he has around 450-550mls. I make sure I offer him water all the time so that he doesn't get dehydrated and I always do a bottlefeed before solids. I'm sure he is just sick of the milk, i've tried other brands, but it makes no difference! Has anybody else experienced anything similar with their bubs? If so, did you find a way to get them to drink more milk, or did you just let them take what they wanted?
